We'll be hiking Crosier Mountain, which is near Drake off of Highway 34.  It's a great training hike for our summit attempt.&lt;br /&gt;

In the past, I've caught myself saying, "Oh well, had that pizza today, so I guess I'll START things tomorrow."  And then, tomorrow would happen, and the cycle would repeat itself.  I'm one of those carb/sugar junkies at heart, and so it comes as quite a challenge to stay dedicated and focused on what it is I get out of making those healthy choices when sometimes all I want are the Lamars donuts:) But I can certainly attest to the incredible difference it can make to stay on the healthy path of living.  After having 3 kiddos and heading into my late 30's, I can honestly say that I feel better now than I ever have, and that's due to the dedication and persistence of healthy-living choices. We can meet to carpool at 7:00 am at become fit, or you can meet us at the trailhead (about 9 miles up Highway 14) around 7:30.  Bring some extra water if you have a dog with you - not much water on this hike.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This is a great training hike for our fourteener summit attempt.  Our goal is to keep a nice steady pace all the way to the top - bring some lunch for a picnic!  PLAN ON 6 HOURS for the total hike - we can be back for more food at El Monte by 1:00 or so!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As always, everyone is welcome - friends, kids, dogs, partners, strangers....OK, maybe not total strangers but what better way to make friends than a 6 hour hike???&lt;br /&gt;
